Travel Conditions & Expectations
This is a demanding high-altitude expedition covering remote regions of Ladakh with long driving hours, rough mountain roads, and limited facilities in certain areas. Guests should be physically comfortable with extreme altitudes, especially during the Umling La excursion crossing nearly 5,800 meters. Proper acclimatization in Leh for at least 48 hours before the trip is strongly recommended. Carry heavy warm clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, personal medication, power backup, snacks, and valid government-issued ID proof throughout the journey.
