Travel Conditions & Expectations
This journey involves extended travel through high-altitude mountain terrain, remote valleys, and varying road conditions. Guests should be prepared for long driving hours, basic road bumps, and changing weather, especially on the Nubra–Pangong Shyok route. Proper acclimatization in Leh for at least 48 hours before the trip is highly recommended. Carry warm clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable shoes, personal medication, and valid government-issued ID proof throughout the journey.
