Route Overview
Experience Ladakh’s beautiful high-altitude lake and remote Changthang region in a short 3-day circuit. This route takes you from Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass, followed by a scenic drive towards Hanle through the Chushul / Tsaga La route, and finally back to Leh via Nyoma and Mahe.

Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01: Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La Pass
Depart from Leh in the morning
Drive towards Karu and Sakti village
Cross Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in Ladakh
Descend towards Durbuk and Tangtse
Continue drive towards Pangong Lake
Reach Pangong Lake by afternoon

Day 02: Pangong Lake to Hanle via Chushul / Tsaga La Route
Early departure from Pangong Lake
Drive through Merak and Chushul side, subject to permit and route condition
Continue through the remote Changthang region
Cross Tsaga La route towards Hanle
Enjoy wide open landscapes, high-altitude plains, and nomadic settlement areas
Reach Hanle by evening

Day 03: Hanle to Leh via Nyoma and Mahe
Depart from Hanle after breakfast
Drive via Loma, Nyoma and Mahe route

Travel Conditions & Expectations
This is a high-altitude journey through remote regions of Ladakh involving long driving hours, mountain passes, and limited facilities in certain areas. Guests should be prepared for changing weather, rough road stretches, basic stay arrangements in Hanle, and limited network connectivity. Proper acclimatization in Leh for at least 48 hours before the trip is strongly recommended. Carry warm clothing, sunscreen, sunglasses, personal medication, power backup, snacks, and valid government-issued ID proof throughout the journey.
